  • 1-3 years of Operations experience

Responsibilities
  • Work with cross-functional teams to find and deliver accurate answers to the burning questions our tutors have about the job application process, onboarding, scheduling, curriculum, policies, and more
  • Create an exceptional work experience for our part-time tutors by supporting tutor operations including scheduling, payroll, and technical support
  • Connect, inspire, inform, and strengthen our tutors by moderating and creating dynamic content for our Ignite Reading community portal
  • Empower our tutors to find answers for themselves and be excellent in their work by updating and maintaining an expansive, up-to-date and intuitive knowledge base

Ignite! Reading improves literacy among students through personalized tutoring services that assess each student's reading level and tailor instruction to their needs. The company trains tutors in a 10-week master class to deliver a curriculum based on the Science of Reading, which is a research-based approach. Schools subscribe to Ignite! Reading's services, allowing students to access expert tutoring that leads to measurable progress, with an average of 2.4 weeks of reading advancement for every week of instruction.
