Requirements
  • The candidate must have a Bachelor's degree in life sciences or a related scientific discipline with 1-2 years of experience.
  • The candidate should have hands-on PK/PD assay development experience including antibody conjugation and antibody pair selection for an immunoassay.
  • The candidate must be able to work with human and animal blood specimens.
  • The candidate must have excellent record keeping, writing and communication skills, and a customer-oriented mindset.
  • Working knowledge of or experience with electronic laboratory notebooks and electronic inventory software would be ideal.
  • The candidate should have experience in bioanalytical methods including ELISA, ECLIA, and RIA using platforms such as MSD, Gyros, Singulex or other platforms, and familiarity with automation platforms.
  • The candidate should have multi-tasking skills and ability to work under tight timelines in a team environment.
Responsibilities
  • The primary responsibility for this position will be to develop immunological methods for supporting nonclinical and clinical PK studies under GLP guidelines.
  • The PK/PD Assay group develops and validates assays to measure biopharmaceutical products and their targets (target engagement) in biological matrices from non-clinical and clinical studies.
  • Additional responsibilities include assay trouble shooting, development of new technology platform, and assay automation.
