  • 5+ years experience in Backline Engineering with at least 3 years of management experience
  • Strong knowledge on Apache Spark and other big data technologies such as HDFS or Hive
  • Hands on experience building automation tools to improve productivity and overall operational efficiency
  • Experience in Python or another scripting language
  • Knowledge of containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
  • Experience with Linux system administration and troubleshooting
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect or DevOps Engineer certification preferred
  • Hire, train, and mentor a team of Backline Spark Support engineers who handle escalations from the Frontline team
  • Provide guidance to improve the Spark support experience within the Global Support Team
  • Hire, train, and manage SREs responsible for deployments and maintenance of regulated environments
  • You will oversee the development and implementation of processes and best practices to ensure reliability, scalability and performance of our production systems
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to ensure operational excellence
Desired Qualifications
  • Good knowledge of AWS services, including EC2, S3 and RDS. Knowledge of Azure and GCP is a plus
