What believers are saying

  • Structured capital expands into sponsorless and hybrid financings, increasing deal flow.
  • Reopened flagship long/short fund broadened public-equity capital deployment after a long hiatus.
  • Healthcare and AI investing through Pearl Health deepen exposure to value-based-care software.

What critics are saying

  • Long/short returns suffer when crowded factors reverse or equity dispersion collapses.
  • Scale above $52 billion makes attractive private and structured deals harder to source.
  • Medicare reimbursement pressure would directly hurt Pearl Health's growth and Viking's private upside.

What makes Viking Global unique

  • Founded in 1999, Viking runs public equity, private equity, credit, and structured capital.
