Front Office Intern

Job Description

We are seeking a friendly and enthusiastic Front Office Intern to join our team in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. As a Front Office Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in hotel front office operations by assisting with guest services, check-in and check-out procedures, reservations, inquiries, and day-to-day front office activities while developing strong communication, customer service, and hospitality skills.

• Greet and welcome all guests with warmth, professionalism, and a genuine smile
• Provide personalized check-in and check-out experiences
• Assist guests with inquiries, directions, and hotel information
• Offer welcome beverages or amenities upon arrival, based on guest status or preferences
• Coordinate with Front Office, Concierge, and Guest Relations to ensure a seamless guest experience
• Maintain a visible presence in the lobby and be readily available to assist or guide guests
• Promote hotel services, facilities, and ongoing promotions
• Handle guest feedback and resolve issues or escalate them appropriately
• Ensure guest preferences and special requests are recorded and communicated effectively
• Maintain a polished and professional appearance at all times, in line with brand standards
• Anticipate guest needs and offer relevant recommendations to enhance their stay

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality, Hotel Management, Tourism, or a related field.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in English (verbal and written); additional languages are a plus
• Warm, outgoing, and service-oriented personality
• Ability to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
• Strong knowledge of Abu Dhabi and its tourist attractions
• Basic computer skills; familiarity with Opera or similar hotel management software is preferred
• Passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences
• Adaptability to work in a multicultural environment
• Attention to detail and ability to multitask efficiently
