Requirements
  • At least 10 years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree, at least 8 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree such as a Master's, MBA, JD, or MD, or at least 3 years of work experience with a PhD.
  • Solid understanding of payments dynamics and co-brand economics.
  • Deep knowledge of big tech and fintech business dynamics and revenue drivers.
  • Experience managing external partnerships or client relationships.
  • Experience working with financial indicators to measure business performance, with significant focus on impacting return on investment.
  • Strong analytical skills, with demonstrated intellectual and analytical rigor.
  • Ability to handle numerous projects concurrently.
  • Knowledge and understanding of banking operations and payment schemes, including products and services, business systems and processes, marketing initiatives, and card issuing and acquiring.
  • Experience managing individuals and consulting teams.
  • Availability during core business hours.
  • Willingness to travel 25% of the time.
Responsibilities
  • Manage a sales pipeline within an identified list of client targets and sell consulting work.
  • Build strong client relationships to ensure awareness of offerings, understanding of strategic objectives, and advocacy for the work.
  • Engage in regular strategic and planning discussions with Account Executives, other Visa Consulting and Analytics delivery teams, and Client Marketing.
  • Lead consulting initiatives and provide strategic insight and direction to the team.
  • Produce insights, analyses, and recommendations to improve client performance, boost growth, clarify client issues, and provide strategic guidance for client priorities.
  • Build scalable solutions, toolkits, best-practice documents, and consulting frameworks to help clients grow portfolios and customer engagement.
  • Partner with peers in other functional areas and global regional teams to execute projects using Visa's resources.
  • Manage systems of record for pricing approvals, internal routing, legal and funding approvals, and proper revenue recognition.
Desired Qualifications
  • At least 12 years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree, 8–10 years of experience with an Advanced Degree such as a Master's, MBA, JD, or MD, or at least 6 years of work experience with a PhD.
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience at a large management consulting firm or equivalent.
  • Technology-oriented interest in payment and industry trends and applications.
  • Excellent communication, storytelling, and presentation skills.
