Arch Insurance launches US transactional liability team to expand risk insurance capabilities

Arch Insurance North America has launched a new US-based transactional liability team to expand its transactional risk insurance capabilities. The business will initially focus on Representations & Warranties and Tax coverage products. The new team is led by William Carson, who joined Arch from Everest where he served as Head of Transactional Risk, North America. Carson reports to Chris Christon, Senior Vice President, Executive Assurance. Arch Insurance has been active in the transactional risk market for over 15 years through various partners and channels across North America, Bermuda and the United Kingdom. The direct US platform complements Arch's existing distribution model and multi-channel approach. Anne Hardner, Executive Vice President, Executive Assurance for Arch Insurance, said the expansion reflects Arch's broader commitment to the transactional risk marketplace and will allow the company to strengthen its market presence and better serve brokers and clients.
