- 2–4 years of hands-on experience in Automation Testing
- Strong proficiency with Cypress and TypeScript
- Solid understanding of testing methodologies, software development life cycle, and software testing life cycle
- Experience with API testing using tools like Postman or built-in Cypress capabilities
- Familiarity with version control tools such as Git
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Excellent communication skills and ability to articulate testing concepts clearly
- Develop, enhance, and maintain automation test scripts using Cypress with TypeScript
- Participate in designing and implementing scalable automation frameworks
- Collaborate with QA, development, and product teams to understand requirements and define test strategies
- Execute automated and occasional manual test cases to ensure high-quality product releases
- Debug issues, analyze root causes, and work closely with developers to resolve defects
- Maintain documentation including test plans, test cases, and test execution reports
- Support continuous integration and continuous testing through pipeline automation
- Contribute to improving testing processes and best practices across the team
- Experience with other JavaScript/TypeScript-based automation tools (Playwright, WebdriverIO, etc.)
- Exposure to performance or security testing (optional)
- Basic understanding of SQL for backend validations
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams
- Knowledge of CI/CD tools is a plus

Skarper, a start-up backed by Sir Chris Hoy, has surged in value by nearly £2 million ahead of securing a major funding boost. The company, which collaborates with Oracle Red Bull Racing, patented a system converting regular bikes into e-bikes.
