  • You are pursuing a technical bachelors or masters degree or have equivalent experience with a strong foundation in the fundamentals of computer science -OR- pursuing a software/coding boot camp (or educational training program) and/or technical associates degree with a strong foundation in the fundamentals of computer science.
  • You strive to solve complex problems in microservices architecture
  • You are familiar with programming languages like Java or Kotlin
  • You have worked with relational databases or time-series databases like Druid
  • You would flourish within a small engineering team and are excited to tackle open-ended problems
  • Authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship now or in the future
  • The candidate must already be living in the San Francisco, CA area.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience working with JavaScript or Typescript
  • Experience with Vue.js, AngularJS or ReactJS (we’re currently using Vue)
  • Building large-scale real-time streaming pipelines using Kafka, Druid, or Spark
  • Knowledge and use of Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud technologies (AWS, GCP)
