Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in related field (In lieu of a degree, equivalent relevant experience may be considered.)
  • 10+ years of experience in Infrastructure Operations Leadership
  • Experience in the following IT infrastructure concepts and solutions: Core infrastructure for both on-premises, cloud, and DR providers; IaC and related infrastructure automation, Site Reliability Engineering, highly available architectures with resilient network design experience, redundancy, monitoring and security control, carriers, and telephony technologies
  • Experience with cloud adoption while embedding security, scalability, reliability, and automation to modernize and rapidly deliver technology solutions to support business objectives
  • Experience managing and supporting Enterprise Network Infrastructure components, Cisco, or Fortinet next generation firewalls
  • Experience supporting regulatory audits, including PCI, CMS, SOC, HIPPA, HITRUST and Supporting datacenters in multi-tenant environment
  • Deep knowledge supporting Infrastructure related operations management (NOC) and platform monitoring standards
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills

Responsibilities
  • Responsible in partnership with the Enterprise Architecture team, for the architecture, roadmap, design, standardization, automation, availability, security, and support of all networks, cloud, and physical infrastructure
  • Partner with senior leadership and peers to create and manage an actionable technology roadmap including planning and execution of Infrastructure Operations budget to meet business and technology needs and company growth
  • Partner with the Information Security team, be accountable for the compliance of the infrastructure with industry security standards, best practices, and regulatory requirements
  • Oversee activities to resolve platform incidents, and hardware and software problems in a timely and accurate fashion
  • Expertise in leading cloud transformation projects and will be a key stakeholder to partner with Enterprise Architecture teams to support cloud and platform strategies
  • Lead infrastructure operations transformation and partner with Network Operations Center to mature Site Reliability Engineering initiatives to manage business-critical systems, solve platform problems, mature Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and automate routine operational tasks to ensure a scalable and highly reliable platform
  • Lead Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity efforts for all Infrastructure Operations and participate as a stakeholder for the overall corporate maturity of the disaster recovery and business continuity programs (We count on IT in times of crisis.)
  • Provide strong leadership and team building skills with a management style that fits the corporate culture and enables a strong customer service mind-set and partnership
  • Manage critical technology general control processes related to the Infrastructure Operations area, support user access management and other controls supporting PCI, HIPPA, and SOC requirements
  • Support Platform Monitoring and Abarca Operations Center teams including Major Incident Management process
  • Collaborate on the analysis of the current technology environment to detect critical deficiencies and recommend solutions for improvements necessary to support company growth
  • Define and establish infrastructure strategic planning, goals, and operating procedures
  • Develop the Infrastructure Operations team and mentor talent to deliver the technology management and execution capabilities of the company
  • Follow all safe work practices and requirements; immediately inform supervisor if there is a hazard
  • Manage complex networks and oversee formal planning, tracking, and reporting on project and staff performance
  • Ensure that project/department milestones and goals are met, while adhering to approved budgets
