- Facilitate an excellent patient experience for those accessing clinic services. Provide information on clinic services, screen for eligibility, book appointments, conduct intake and check-in of patients, update patient profiles, provide guidance on form completion, and help patients navigate the clinic
- Manage the online appointment scheduler and availability. Facilitate patient assignment to a medical room and pharmacist, and book follow-up appointments as needed. Perform computer functions as directed by the Pharmacist, including data entry, patient information entry/update, professional services billing, report generation, and patient profile checks. Operate the clinic phone line: answer non-medical questions, appointment bookings, follow-ups, reminder calls, etc.
- Collaborate and work with the Pharmacy Manager and Staff Pharmacist (Pharmacy Clinic) to optimize workflow and patient experience. Participate in company initiatives and programs.
- Follow SOPs and policies to ensure proper operations and compliance to regulatory requirements. Protect patient privacy at all times.
- General clinic housekeeping and medical room turnover: keeping a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Maintain pharmacy supplies and equipment pharmaceuticals according to operational needs and regulatory requirements.
- Clerical organization, filing or scanning documentation, invoices, reports, correspondence and memos and completing any administrative support functions assigned.
- Operate the POS system and collect payment for co-pays and pharmacy-related purchases.
- Experience working in a retail pharmacy or a medical clinic
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient with Kroll and computers
- Customer service-oriented attitude
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality
