Responsibilities
  • Define and deliver Minimum Marketable Product for a new work stream
  • Own success metrics and targets for the work stream
  • Establish feedback loops and use them to identify enhancements needed to scale across target user segments
  • Define product backlog and product roadmap for the work stream
  • Align cross-functional stakeholders by clearly articulating the problem space, effective solutions, and expected outcomes
  • Contribute to longer term growth by leading product discovery for other product areas as needed
  • Collaborate w/ Director of Product on other strategic areas
  • Develops a product northstar and leads execution for the assigned product area
  • Positively impacts other initiatives for which they are not directly responsible
  • Creates set of qualitative/quantitative measures to drive performance across existing product area
  • Understands how to improve success metrics
  • Prioritizes new product features or strategic direction based on metric impacts
  • Mentors others to use decision frameworks and the process of linking data, knowledge, and insights
  • Uses frameworks to align stakeholders and leadership on product direction/key decisions
  • Generates ideas for developing deeper customer insights (new research methods/topics)
  • Prioritizes customer segments to ensure business value for not just own product area but broader Escapia
  • Coaches peers on how to understand customer pain points, develop hypotheses, and test to solve problems
  • Serves as go-to person for leadership for questions, clarifications, and direction
  • Facilitates communications with external teams to unblock development of products
  • Exhibits storytelling and persuasive influencing techniques that build trust with team and establish long-term relationships
  • Proactively contributes to cross-team collaboration and leads alignment with broader initiatives
  • Communicates a compelling rationale and narrative to peers and partners
  • Tailors’ communications (content focus, style, format, etc.) for different audiences as appropriate
  • Actively seeks diverse feedback on work and anticipates feedback to address it proactively
  • Leads discovery across cross-functional stakeholders to develop understanding of a shared problem, makes suggestions for solutions and recommends which solutions will achieve the most ideal customer or business outcome
