  • 8+ years of experience as an HR Generalist or Business Partner or equivalent; of which 2-5 years of experience in a benefits administration function including preparation of annual filings/open enrollment and preferably having multi-state experience
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where managing priorities is key
  • Must be collaborative and team focused with a high level of organizational, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Previous experience managing employees in multiple jurisdictions
  • Manage benefits administration, including annual open enrollment for health and other benefits, initial enrollments during employee onboarding, and life events
  • Field employee questions related to benefits, payroll and any other HR related issues
  • Research and stay abreast of industry trends and norms in relation to benefit packages, HR laws, compensation plans, etc. for all of our current and future office locations
  • Coordinate and assist with compliance reporting requirements and annual audits including but not limited to: ERISA, FMLA, ADA, Short-term and Long-term Disability claims, EEO, ACA, 401k Audit, Worker's Compensation Audit, etc
  • Develop learning and development programs and career advancement paths to create opportunities for both our early career and experienced employees to grow professionally
  • Develop programs and plans to further our mission of providing an environment that fosters team unity, collaboration and belonging
  • Cooperate with internal stakeholders such as Accounting (benefits invoices, expense reporting and invoices), Recruiting, Compliance, Tax and IT Operations (Employee Onboarding / Off-boarding) on a variety of issues
  • Manage the Office Administration team to ensure consistent levels of service across all of our offices
  • Partner with our Immigration Attorneys to ensure that all employee-related visa processes are handled accurately and in a timely manner
  • Work closely within the HR team to deliver a smooth onboarding & off-boarding experience to Old Mission employees
  • Maintain accurate employee records within the HRIS (ADP) and onboarding platform (Greenhouse)
  • Complete employment verification requests for current and former employees
  • Confirm the appropriate notices are sent out per individual state requirements and ensure that we have an inclusive work environment for both in office and remote employees
Desired Qualifications
  • The ability to think creatively and help us further improve employee experience
  • Previous experience working with a Fintech or STEM related firm
  • ADP and Greenhouse experience
  • Bachelor's Degree
  • HR Certifications (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, etc.)
