- Perform repairs according to work orders or verbal instructions and compile proper documentation following established policies and procedures.
- Identify and request the parts and components needed to complete maintenance tasks.
- Perform basic plumbing and electrical repairs and appliance repairs, including changing light bulbs, replacing ballasts, and installing light fixtures.
- Perform basic carpentry and assist with minor construction projects, including installing or repairing drywall, walls, flooring, ceramic tile, cabinetry, countertops, shelving, and painting.
- Help maintain a clean and safe work environment through debris and trash removal, heavy lifting and moving of materials and equipment, floor sweeping, and material storage.
- Enter work orders, document tasks, and close work orders in the electronic record-keeping system.
- Research products and solutions to maintenance problems.
- Work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
