Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree required
  • At least 7 years of experience in Sourcing, Supply Chain Management, Contract Management or other relevant business area.
  • Leadership skills (either directly or indirectly) and proven ability to work in cross-functional team and international environment
  • Ability to communicate with different levels and functions in the organization.
  • Ability to negotiate with suppliers
  • Analytical and strategic thinking, problem solving and scenarios generation skills
  • Working understanding of supplier market in respective area of focus
  • Ability to develop & manage multiple projects.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain or other business related field preferred.
  • CPSM Certification
  • Data management skills (MS Office, SAP and AS400 experience)
Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies to help drive initiatives for improving supplier quality / service levels while improving supplier cost effectiveness, and reducing overall operation costs for the Kitting Division.
  • Contribute to development of new strategies for designated categories.
  • Align with internal stakeholders (engineering, operations, quality or other business partners) to understand requirements to ensure supplier qualification and quality.
  • Support building business cases based on internal analytics, a deep understanding of Medline business requirements, industry trends and best practices.
  • Participate and support Global sourcing projects.
  • Support and lead negotiations and supplier selections; accountable for contract lifecycle management and compliance.
  • Responsible for delivering productivity through price, value analysis (VA) or continuous improvement projects based on goals and objectives.
  • Actively monitor and mitigate supplier risk including financial, capacity, quality, and compliance.
  • Develop and maintain all major contracts for respective site(s).
  • Help drive compliance for all national contracts.
  • Ensure creation of supplier profiles including metrics, performance goals, and improvement initiatives.
  • Perform and participate in quarterly supplier reviews for all strategic suppliers that involve designated site(s).
  • Participate and support Indirect Procurement ESG strategies.
