Requirements
  • GCSE or equivalent English at grade A*–C or 9–4 is essential.
  • GCSE or equivalent Mathematics at grade A*–C or 9–4 is essential.
  • IT skills, attention to detail, organisation skills, customer care skills, problem-solving skills, administrative skills, number skills, analytical skills, logical reasoning, teamwork, and initiative are required.
Responsibilities
  • Handle accounts, personal taxation, payroll, and bookkeeping.
  • Prepare bookkeeping and manage accounts for small and medium entities for management accountants.
  • Work with spreadsheets, cloud-based accounting software, client manual records, and bank account statements.
  • Perform general administration work.
  • Prepare trial balances and accounts.
  • File and archive financial statements and accounting files.
  • Prepare financial records for client billing.
  • Answer office telephone calls and contact clients to obtain information.
  • Research financial trends in the United Kingdom market.
  • Assist all team members as required.
  • Observe company policies and encourage good practice, particularly regarding health and safety, equal opportunities, and confidentiality.
