Requirements
  • Prior experience working for a General Insurance / Claims business, operating in a senior finance role
  • Ability to demonstrate excellent senior stakeholder and business partnering skills
  • Right level of commercial understanding of how the financial side of a General Insurance business runs
  • Prior exposure of managing a large team, with excellent influencing and motivation skills
  • Degree educated and ideally a qualified accountant (or relevant extensive experience if not)
Responsibilities
  • Be the Finance Lead and partner to Aviva’s UK GI Claims function
  • Operate as a senior leader on both the Personal Lines Business Partnering team and Claims Senior Leadership Team
  • Collaborate to drive financial performance and deliver great customer and commercial outcomes
  • Lead a team of 13
  • Support and challenge the Claims SLT in delivering its goals
  • Advise on the financial implications of proposed actions and actions already taken
