Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing or in active pursuit of BSN, through an accredited college or university
- Licensed RN to practice in the State of Texas
- A minimum of 5 years clinical practice in an Operating Room
- Minimum 2 years Operating Room Manager Experience required and must be recent
- BLS
Responsibilities
- Provide overall direction for a dynamic Surgery and Sterile Processing Department with 24 hour accountability and budgetary responsibility
- Collaborate with system and entity teams regarding improvement, care delivery, educational services and other staff to develop, establish and maintain policies, procedures and practices that result in a safe environment in which to work and provide optimal care to patients
- Champion and work with entity management staff, employees, physicians and others to advance the development of the organization’s culture of Individuals Caring for Individuals Together
- Demonstrate a clear understanding of the department’s strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats and pursue initiatives and distinct strategies to achieve a competitive advantage while acknowledging faith-based foundations
