Requirements
  • Two (2) years of additional TW experience may be substituted for an Associate's degree
  • Possess an active TS/SCI with Polygraph to be considered for the role
  • Experience effectively formatting and editing technical publications and proposals, including writing, editing, and illustrating using MS Office Suite
  • Experience working with system engineers, software engineers, and program management to translate technical information into clear, concise documentation
  • Must be an independent thinker, capable of performing high quality work, both independently and with a team, in a fast-moving environment
Responsibilities
  • The selected candidate will author, edit, and proof technical documents such as System Manuals, User Guides, and other technical documentation
  • He/she will ensure that documents conform to program standards and Data Item Description (DID) requirements
  • He/she will work with the engineering team to define the content of the documents
  • He/she will have primary responsibility for authorship
  • The selected individual will gather requirements from users/stakeholders and prepare user and program documentation
  • He/she will work closely with technical staff and will be responsible for managing multiple documentation assignments simultaneously
