Requirements

Responsibilities
  • Execute strategic planning efforts with limited guidance from leaders and partner with senior leaders to architect initiatives aimed at achieving UHealth objectives.
  • Support ongoing enterprise initiatives.
  • Drive operational execution and day-to-day management of business development initiatives.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis.
  • Assist in evaluating the feasibility and profitability of potential partnerships and initiatives.
  • Coordinate with partners to develop innovative solutions and drive revenue growth.
  • Support negotiations and contract discussions under the guidance of business development leadership.
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders to align strategies with strategic priorities.
  • Develop project management artifacts, including charters, status reports, project plans, and timelines.
  • Consider broader team deadlines, troubleshoot potential bottlenecks, develop executive status updates, and manage critical risks and issues.
  • Contribute to risk mitigations to support project success.
  • Analyze financial data, market trends, and business metrics to evaluate strategic and business development initiatives.
  • Prepare reports and presentations for senior leadership with insights and recommendations for future growth.
  • Provide guidance, mentorship, and leadership to the Strategy and Transformation junior team.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performing culture aligned with organizational goals.
  • Review work products and provide feedback and coaching; manage and foster the development of junior team members across multiple work streams and projects.
  • Coordinate bi-weekly meetings for the President and Chief Executive Officer and executive leadership team, including agenda development, room setup, and documentation of outcomes.
  • Gather stakeholder input and prioritize agenda topics supporting organizational goals.
  • Assist in developing presentations and supporting materials for board and executive meetings.
  • Review and edit materials for accuracy and completeness and provide leadership with updates on meeting materials and timelines.
  • Maintain organized and secure documentation for board-related materials using best practices in document management.
  • Oversee the board communication platform and ensure timely, accurate uploading and accessibility of materials.
  • Coordinate board-meeting logistics with the board office and technology teams.
  • Support communication and coordination for board-related activities.
  • Manage day-of meeting operations, including presentation support, material distribution, and note-taking for follow-up tracking.
  • Track and document follow-up actions from meetings and ensure accountability and timely leadership updates.
  • Integrate board discussions with ongoing projects and initiatives to maintain strategic alignment.
  • Prepare presentation content for University governance forums such as Faculty Senate and Student Organizations.
  • Contribute to process-improvement efforts related to board and governance operations.
  • Establish and continuously assess internal controls within the unit and ensure compliance with University policies and procedures.
  • Ensure employees are trained on internal controls and University policies and procedures.
