Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree closely related to the built environment, preferably in engineering or architecture
  • 3+ years’ professional experience in a relevant field
  • Exposure to practical project management fundamentals
  • Willingness to obtain a professional certification related to buildings, building systems, or engineering
  • Understanding of health, safety, and security standards in building environments.
  • Excellent computer skills, familiar with navigating software systems, and an expert user of Microsoft Office
  • Exceptional communication and leadership skills. An ability to work productively within multi-disciplinary teams
Responsibilities
  • Become an expert user of Ameresco’s proprietary software suite: AssetPlanner™;
  • Develop processes and systems to efficiently execute project objectives on-time;
  • Demonstrate financial acumen for budgeting and deliver projects on-budget
  • Become a team leader and help nurture junior assessors on their path to autonomy;
  • Proactively support Ameresco projects by supporting data management and project management functions;
  • Professionally represent Ameresco by coordinating project activities and liaising directly with customer stakeholders;
  • Conduct high quality building facility condition assessments in a professional and courteous manner;
  • Research industry standards and perform cost estimating using best practices, documenting your processes;
  • Prepare facility condition reports, and other technical reports, detailing assessment findings;
  • Prepare and support executive summary presentations with key customer stakeholders;
  • Perform other duties as required.
