Catapult Health provides preventive care for employees through employer-based programs, shifting from on-site checkups to its VirtualCheckup at-home model. Participants receive a home kit with a blood pressure monitor and finger-stick tests, then have a private video visit with a nurse practitioner who reviews results, screens for mental health concerns, and creates a personalized plan to address risks for diabetes, hypertension, and heart disease. It bills health plans as an in-network provider and serves employers of various sizes, and Teladoc Health acquired Catapult Health in 2025 to boost preventive care and chronic disease management. Compared with competitors, it combines employer-focused preventive screening with at-home diagnostics and telehealth follow-up at scale to deliver accessible preventive care for a broad employee base.

Earnings reports held the key to the CE 100 Index’s momentum this past week — and among the takeaways: Buy now, pay later (BNPL) continues to see a groundswell of popularity with consumers. Most of the pillars that we track were higher, save the Work segment, which gave up 0.7%. Though company-specific headlines were scarce, the jobs report that came in on Friday noted that hiring has been slowing, at least as measured by January’s 143,000 additions. The Shop segment roared ahead by 4.8%. Pinterest’s rally was the standout here, surging 20.9%

Teladoc CEO Chuck Divita highlighted the acquisition's potential for enhancing preventative care.
DALLAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Employees suffering from mental health issues, such as depression and anxiety, often go unnoticed and untreated. According to the Anxiety and Depression Association of America (ADAA), it is estimated that over 40 million employees suffer from some level of workplace related anxiety, with over one-third reporting panic attacks or a significant impact on their job performance. In a recent study of large employers, 89% of HR benefit managers said mental health support was a high priority for their company, due to a record number of employees either leaving the workforce, or “quietly quitting,” where employees do only the bare minimum at work. Addressing mental health issues, such as anxiety, is increasingly key to maintaining workplace productivity. To address this increasing concern, Catapult Health will add screening for generalized anxiety disorder (GAD) to its VirtualCheckup solution in January. This testing complements existing psychological testing provided by Catapult for depression (PHQ) and suicidal ideation (Columbia Suicide Severity Risk) and will provide the most comprehensive set of mental health screening available
DALLAS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Catapult Health, a Dallas-based company serving 3,500 employers with over 2 million covered lives, today announced the launch of VirtualCheckup for All, a revolutionary new way for employed Americans and their spouses/partners to get their annual wellness exam. By proactively sending a VirtualCheckup engagement kit to each person’s home, Catapult is transforming preventive care into an “auto-enroll” health benefit, much like employers did with their 401(k) plans 20 years ago. Catapult expects their new approach to double or triple the percentage of individuals who get their wellness exam each year. “The days of people waiting weeks or months to get a doctor’s appointment for an annual wellness exam are over,” says David Michel, CEO of Catapult Health. “And with 80% of Americans avoiding or skipping their preventive care each year, a tsunami of undiagnosed disease is looming on the horizon. It’s time to remove the friction and take the annual wellness visit into each person’s home, virtually.”
DALLAS & SEATTLE--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Catapult Health, a virtual preventive care provider serving 3,500 employers with over 2 million covered lives, and Tasso Inc., the leading provider of convenient, clinical-grade blood collection solutions, today announced a collaboration that will simplify home-based preventive care for employees and their families. Effective October 5th, Catapult will start offering the Tasso+™ device as part of its VirtualCheckup®, an innovative at-home annual wellness checkup that combines simple and virtually painless testing with face-to-face clinical video consultations. VirtualCheckup is already a covered benefit for hundreds of America’s largest corporations and major national health plans, including BlueCross and BlueShield. “Tasso’s innovative blood collection device is a perfect addition to our VirtualCheckup kit because it allows individuals to easily collect their own blood sample at home, virtually pain-free and without the traditional finger stick,” said David Michel, CEO of Catapult Health. “Together, we will transform the annual wellness exam by driving mass adoption of our VirtualCheckup, a solution designed to identify and address health risks for costly chronic conditions including depression, hypertension, diabetes and heart disease, all before they turn into adverse health events.”
