Associates are responsible for framing research approaches, managing projects, and supervising team/staff while building individual expertise. As they gain valuable hands-on project experience, Associates also become more involved in developing client relationships and marketing and business development efforts. Ideal Associate Candidates Will Possess
- An MBA with an academic or professional background in Finance, Valuation and/or Accounting
- Excellent foundation in quantitative analysis, and/or several years of relevant work experience (preferably in a consulting, investment banking, asset management, auditing or similar environment)
- Demonstrated record of outstanding academic and/or professional accomplishment
- Intellectual curiosity, including a drive to think creatively about complex finance, valuation, business strategy, and accounting issues
- Excellent analytic and quantitative skills, along with practical problem-solving abilities (including proficiency in Excel; experience with statistical software such as Stata or R also helpful)
- An aptitude for, and interest in, expressing complex ideas through written reports and presentations
- An entrepreneurial drive to build their own business and brand while contributing to the firm
- Desire to work, learn, and lead within a collaborative team environment

Brattle offers a competitive benefits package, base salary, and bonus program for eligible roles based on individual and firm performance. The anticipated base gross salary range for this position in Chicago, IL is $180,000 - $191,000 annually. Actual salary will depend on a variety of factors, including experience and training.
