Requirements
  • Two or more years of maintenance experience in multi-family property management are strongly preferred.
  • EPA, Occupational Safety and Health Administration, Fair Housing, and pool certifications are required.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills through all communication channels are required.
  • Ability to lift equipment and appliances weighing up to 50 pounds is required.
  • Must be able to take calls for emergency requests.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and daily transportation for obtaining supplies and performing other duties.
  • Must be able to drive a golf cart.
  • Must be willing to work more than 40 hours per week as business needs require.
Responsibilities
  • Perform all maintenance tasks for units and equipment.
  • Oversee the entire Maintenance Team.
  • Manage work orders to ensure they are completed in a timely manner.
  • Confirm that apartments are updated and move-in ready.
  • Perform all mechanical walks for construction.
  • Monitor inventory and order supplies as needed.
  • Schedule vendors and contractors and work alongside construction to address issues.
  • Apply knowledge of applicable laws and Environmental Protection Agency and Occupational Safety and Health Administration regulations governing the proper storage and management of hazardous materials.
  • Inspect the condition of physical properties throughout the community and correct unsafe conditions.
