Job Description Qualifications:
Introduction:
The operations Industrial engineer will be responsible for supporting the Maintenance Planning activity, liaising with stakeholders to ensure accurate schedule position is reported. The generation of metrics and KPIs as well as the management of over and above tasking’s, bookings and remuneration from the customer.
Responsibilities:
- Working with the Maintenance Planners and Task leads
- Ensuring accurate progress to plan in captured and reported
- Interfacing with programme and functions to support capability Managing the integration of emerging and scheduled work to generate progress reports and metrics
- Reporting schedule milestones and impacts/issues escalated to the Operations manager
- Adopting a collaborative approach to their work and ensuring a collaborative approach is adopted by their teams
Work Authorisation:
This requisition is for a locally hired position in the UK. Candidates must have current legal authorisation to work immediately in the United Kingdom. Boeing will not attempt to obtain Immigration and labour sponsorship for any applicants.

Security Clearance: This position requires the ability to obtain a UK security clearance (SC) for which UK residency is required. All information will be checked and verified.
Relocation: This position does not offer relocation. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.
Qualifications:
- Able to understand and communicate technical requirements to multiple stakeholders at different organisational levels.
- In depth knowledge of generation and control of KPIs metrics and reporting.
- Military or Civil Aircraft Maintenance experience
- Completed a recognised apprenticeship or equivalent training programme
- Extensive experience working in an aircraft maintenance environment
- Extensive Aircraft maintenance experience, preferably in a base maintenance environment
- Aircraft certification experience within an aircraft maintenance repair organisation (MRO)
- Demonstrable project management / Key Stakeholder experience.
- Experience in the implementation of Lean techniques
- Demonstrable experience with Microsoft Office with the ability to compile and present reports of a technical nature
- Highly competent written and verbal communication skills essential.
