Requirements
- Develop and deliver global events and experiences to support strategic revenue objectives, customer retention, employee engagement, and brand awareness goals, including presence at trade shows, hosted events, and employee gatherings
- Own the planning, project management, promotion strategy, and overall event delivery of ActiveCampaign Study Halls, our company's customer in-person educational events
- Take full accountability for all internal and external stakeholder communication, including conducting launch meetings and producing regular updates to cross-functional teams
- Manage the end-to-end logistics for these events, including approval/review of all requests, vendor selection and management, swag delivery, ticket issuance and refunds, and overall customer experience
- Oversee all external event agencies and vendors where required (food and swag vendors, onsite show organizers, etc)
- Execute employee events, including quarterly meetings and annual ACE Club trips to ensure high employee engagement and satisfaction
- Source solutions for in-person, hybrid, and virtual events to make it easier to produce and execute and reduce administration activity
- Work across Marketing to understand all opportunities and events and to help plan, schedule and map out event activity based on budgets, time and resource
- Lead all administrative projects (such as event inbox, admin platforms, name badge printing, and RSVP reporting) with the ability to oversee and delegate tasks to the broader team as needed
- Work closely with Marketing Leadership to manage sponsorship opportunities across industry events and channels
- Identify and negotiate with venues and vendors, manage venue/vendor contracts, relationships, and outputs to achieve the maximum opportunity and best value for money
- Deliver to budget and against established milestones to achieve team and stakeholder goals
- Analyze and evaluate the effectiveness of specific events and programs, including ROI and report KPIs and performance metrics as required to internal audiences
- Leverage data to gain insights that will maximize the impact of events and drive ongoing program optimization
- 5+ years of related experience in events with a deep level of leading customer events
- Must be local to the Chicago area - this role will be expected to come into the Chicago hub a few days per month
- Demonstrated experience in vendor management
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced, high-growth environment under tight deadlines
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Ability to lead, influence, and work across organizational boundaries, including a broad range of peers and executives
- Ability to manage multiple work-streams concurrently with consideration for prioritization, complexity, influence, and levels of involvement required to advance initiatives
- Exceptional organizational instincts and skills that provide order, clarity, and visibility at the macro and micro level for all involved parties
- Drive innovation on the team with a willingness to experiment with the ability to balance “big picture” thinking with tactical execution
- A deep comfort level with program analysis, measurement, reporting, and pipeline impact
- A willingness and ability to travel as/when required and operate across various time zones
