Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of HR experience in a fast-paced, creative, or tech-savvy environment.
  • Strong grasp of federal and California employment laws and regulations.
  • You know how to handle sensitive information like it’s the final boss level.
  • Comfortable engaging with people across all levels of the organization.
  • You can think outside the box when it comes to solving challenges.
  • Able to forge meaningful connections with employees and leadership at SMS and Sony Interactive Entertainment.
  • Skilled at juggling multiple priorities in a fast-moving environment.
  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Experience with Workday or similar platforms.
  • PHR or SHRM-CP certification is a plus!
  • Experience in games or entertainment would be a game-changer.
  • Hands-on experience with Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion programs.

  • Foster a positive studio vibe by communicating and interpreting HR policies effectively.
  • Make new hires feel right at home and excited to start their journey with us!
  • Be the go-to person for employees with questions, providing quick and helpful responses.
  • Partner with studio leaders to nurture an amazing workplace culture.
  • Coordinate training, learning, and development programs tailored for our team.
  • Handle employment processes, workflow management, and employee relations intake.
  • Conduct exit interviews, sharing key insights to enhance the employee experience.
  • Analyze and recommend updates to policies, ensuring they align with our business goals.
  • Manage employee records and documentation with precision.
  • Assist with recruiting activities as needed—because teamwork makes the dream work!
