Requirements
  • Current New York State registration as a registered nurse.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Nursing.
  • Emergency Department experience.
  • Basic Life Support Provider Certification.
  • Advanced Life Support Provider Certification.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs such as Outlook, Word, Power Point, Workday, and Excel.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills; strong interpersonal skills; strong organizational skills.
  • Self-direction, creativity, initiative to develop/enhance educational programs.
  • Leadership ability and working knowledge of leadership principles and management skills.
Responsibilities
  • Directing human and fiscal resources for the ER.
  • Providing clinical leadership & oversight for the ER.
  • Developing & implementing performance improvement initiatives.
Desired Qualifications
  • Master’s degree in Nursing strongly preferred.
  • Nurse Educator experience strongly preferred.
  • Leadership / Management experience strongly preferred.
