Requirements
  • The applicant must be a licensed attorney in California.

Responsibilities
  • Review and evaluate liability and insurance availability for the firm's significant injury and catastrophic injury cases.
  • Build client relationships and communicate with clients and family members during pre-litigation.
  • Conduct investigations by collecting and analyzing evidence to determine potential claims and liability, potential defendants, and insurance.
  • Hire appropriate experts to assist with cases, and collect and provide information necessary for expert case analysis and liability determinations.
  • Hire outside investigators to take recorded statements or conduct specialized investigations.
  • Conduct legal research.
  • Investigate facts of loss and research the application of case law.
  • Analyze, manage, and review evidence to assess liability and determine a case plan.
  • Draft government claim forms and demand letters.
  • Communicate with adjusters and draft correspondence as needed.
Desired Qualifications
  • Prior personal injury experience is highly preferred.
