  • Skilled at providing structured peer support services, including recovery planning, transition support, and wellness skill building.
  • Ability to apply trauma-informed and client-centered approaches in peer interactions.
  • Skilled at offering empathetic support through appropriate sharing of personal recovery experiences, fostering hope, and serving as a role model for clients in recovery.
  • Ability to guide clients in identifying and accessing community resources, services, and activities that promote recovery and community integration.
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict-resolution skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Ability to maintain accurate records while complying with organizational policies and confidentiality standards.
  • Ability to complete documentation in alignment with Chemical Dependency Treatment Facility requirements, including service type, duration, goals, and outcomes.
  • Ability to maintain timely and accurate electronic records for peer support activities using a designated system.
Responsibilities
  • Facilitate access to care and enhance the quality of life for underserved individuals.
  • Conduct outreach activities to become a trusted advisor and disseminate information about available resources and services.
  • Deliver instruction in person and through telehealth platforms, focusing on prenatal and postnatal women and assisting with maternal mental health and substance use resources.
  • Collaborate with clinical staff to support client care.
  • Participate in chart audits and quality assurance reviews and address compliance-related feedback promptly.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
