Requirements
- One year of experience.
- Two or more years of specialty experience are required for first-time travelers.
- Flu vaccination is required with no exemptions.
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support, Basic Life Support, and National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale certificates are required.
- Experience with the Epic charting system is required.
- Progressive Care Unit nurses require American Heart Association Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support, Basic Cardiac Life Support, National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale, and telemetry credentials; a medication test is required.
Responsibilities
- Assess patient conditions.
- Manage complex medications and treatments.
- Monitor cardiac status and vital signs.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support recovery and prevent complications.
Desired Qualifications
- Teaching hospital experience.
- Trauma Level I experience.
- Trauma Level II experience.
