Requirements
- Experience successfully launching enterprise data platform products and capabilities
- Familiarity with healthcare data (claims or clinical)
- BA/BS degree in relevant technical discipline (e.g. Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, etc.) or equivalent practical experience
- Technical fluency in big data processing, cloud-based data management, SQL and noSQL databases
- Exceptional communication and listening skills, you break down problems and generate shared understanding across technical and non-technical audiences
- Understanding of:
- Basic infrastructure needs - access control, apis, databases and serving infrastructure
- Security, PHI, and healthcare firewalls/access
- User access controls including relationship to SSO and PHI
- Cloud infrastructure operations
- A get-it-done personality with a bias towards testing hypotheses and execution
- Ability to listen to users and translate their needs into product requirements
- Ability to ruthlessly prioritize competing demands across multiple stakeholders
- Strong track record of creative problem solving and overcoming challenges
Responsibilities
- Lead the alignment of work to broader product vision for application infrastructure and InfraSec teams
- Drive the agile flow from requirements gathering through to sprint planning
- Represent the teams in planning and commitments across the broader team
- Own requirements for key infrastructure initiatives (SSO, application monitoring, application training center)
- Partner with InfraSec on cost control efforts across vendors and cloud providers
- Work with compliance team on rollout of internal controls
Desired Qualifications
- Hands-on software engineering experience
- Familiarity with healthcare data (claims or clinical)
- A quantitative background with experience working with teams of data analysts and data scientists
- Enterprise software or healthcare-related domain knowledge
