Summary
As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for the various tasks outlined below. If you’re reliable, have a good work ethic, and can cooperate with co-workers and clients respectfully, this is the position for you.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Travel to various job sites in a company-provided vehicle
- Support Construction Materials Testing Manager in achieving financial goals
- Oversee materials testing projects to ensure the proper tests are being performed at the required frequency and to ensure that projects specifications are being met
- Complete proof roll observations and undercuts
- Staff fieldwork
- Provide on-site project management to complete field testing
- Review, update and approve invoices weekly for ongoing projects
- Develop and manage projects with clients
- Create and update project proposals and reports
- Document accurate and detailed daily field activity and/or diagrams and report the findings to clients and supervisors
- Maintain daily communication with technicians, contractors, and other project managers
- Communicate verbally and electronically with various field personnel and colleagues
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering
- Minimum of 4 years of experience required.
- Engineer in training (E.I.T.) Certification
- P.E. license preferred.
- Valid Driver’s License and a good driving record
