Requirements
  • An MD or DO degree with an active license.
  • A minimum of five years of clinical dermatology experience seeing patients.
  • Operational experience as a senior operator at a large dermatology network, in management consulting, or in private equity; alternatively, military experience with an MBA.
  • Demonstrated experience building clinical systems, standard operating procedures, and quality frameworks, ideally within a large dermatology network, telehealth platform, or managed care organization.
  • Comfort defining key performance indicators, reading data, and translating findings into operational change.
  • A structured, detail-oriented operating approach suitable for both broad protocol design and detailed chart-level review.
Responsibilities
  • Lead the design and launch of clinical workflows for new and existing dermatological conditions.
  • Partner with the Chief Medical Officer and Clinical Operations lead to advance treatment protocols based on current evidence and best practices.
  • Collaborate with the Product team to translate clinical workflows into platform functionality, including provider dashboards, decision support tools, and patient-facing care journeys.
  • Support research initiatives with academic and pharmaceutical partners to advance treatment outcomes.
  • Oversee and continuously improve daily clinical performance across the online dermatology provider workforce.
  • Lead provider onboarding, training, and ongoing development.
  • Drive provider productivity and quality through structured coaching.
  • Assist in artificial-intelligence initiatives designed to augment provider performance and reduce friction in clinical workflows.
  • Coordinate continuing medical education programming and content development for provider summits.
  • Support speaker and pharmaceutical partner recruitment for clinical events.
  • Build correction workflows in coordination with the Chief Medical Officer and supervisor leads.
  • Monitor adherence to treatment protocols across the provider panel.
  • Measure and report treatment outcomes, flagging trends and outliers for clinical review.
  • Create and manage patient clinical escalation workflows involving the Chief Medical Officer, supervisor leads, and care coordinators.
  • Develop regulatory-grade standard operating procedures and service-level agreements to keep the platform audit-ready.
  • Oversee quality-assurance evaluation systems assessing provider documentation, patient communication, and treatment decisions.
  • Design and roll out treatment workflows for at least one existing or new condition from protocol development through provider training and launch.
  • Meet every provider individually, assess strengths and gaps, and establish performance frameworks including scorecards, quarterly reviews, and productivity benchmarks.
  • Build quality-assurance systems, standard operating procedures, and escalation workflows that support consistent care and audit readiness.

  • Familiarity with artificial-intelligence-assisted clinical review tools or experience integrating artificial intelligence into clinical workflows.
