Requirements
  • Knowledge of compressors, turbines, pumps, and other rotating equipment related to the gas and gas liquids industry and use of related equipment
  • Knowledge of instrumentation, electrical, and process control equipment and systems

Responsibilities
  • Supervise, direct, and/or assist employees performing mechanical work on engines and equipment at various locations including but not limited to: Internal combustion, diesel, and natural gas powered engines; Compressors, generators, turbines, electrical equipment, and well equipment; Vessels, piping, valves, instrumentation, and controls; Heaters, boilers, heat exchangers, and related equipment
  • Ensure completion of routine prevention, predictive, and compliance maintenance work including paper documentation
  • Coordinate system improvements and modifications and other special projects
  • Determine materials needed and prepare authorization for expenses (AFE’s) for major maintenance items
  • Compile, prepare, and/or analyze various reports and correspondence including but not limited to: O&M capital budgets; Oil sample analysis; Contractor quotes; Compressor set-up sheets; Authorization for expenses (AFE’s); Vendor maintenance manuals; Construction drawings and maps; Maintenance plans and schedules
  • Review oil analysis to determine potential problems and set Process Safety Management (PSM) frequencies
  • Ensure compliance with company policies related to OSHA, EPA, and DOT requirements, preparing appropriate documentation
  • Provide information and/or assistance to management and employees regarding daily work activities, scheduling, operational changes, etc
  • Responsibilities may include Department of Transportation (DOT) covered functions, including operations, maintenance, or emergency response on a pipeline. Job duties also require the employee to be alert and respond immediately to dangerous or hazardous conditions, and where impaired performance, or failure to follow safety precautions, could result in serious injury or property damage.
