Requirements
  • A high school diploma or GED is required, although equivalent experience may be accepted in lieu of education.
  • At least one year of experience as a Maintenance Technician is required.
  • Knowledge of HVAC, electrical, and plumbing systems is required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Outlook, is required.
  • A current driver's license without major violations is required.
  • Ability to work after hours and weekends as needed, including an on-call rotation, is required.
  • Ability to arrive at the property within 45 minutes to respond to emergencies is required.
  • Ability to work under pressure and respond to others' needs in a timely and courteous manner is required.
  • Ability to establish working relationships and work effectively in a team setting is required.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, maintain attention to detail, and work in a fast-paced environment is required.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision is required.
  • Ability to perform the physical demands of the role, including standing, walking, climbing, bending, repetitive motions, and lifting up to 50 pounds, is required.
  • Ability to work around variable temperatures, noise, outdoor and indoor conditions, fumes, dust, chemicals, and biohazards is required.
Responsibilities
  • Provide Class A customer service and build rapport with residents.
  • Perform repairs, maintenance, and cleaning of the property's interior and exterior.
  • Protect and assist in improving the value of the client's assets.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on unit-based and building-level equipment.
  • Perform emergency on-call service in a rotation order.
  • Perform electrical, plumbing, carpentry, masonry, and painting work.
  • Repair and treat structures and fixtures including showers, sinks, appliances, doors, cabinets, walls, and building exteriors.
  • Prepare units for new move-ins.
  • Perform grounds work including pickup, sweeping, and light landscaping.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Desired Qualifications
  • CFC Universal Certification is preferred.
  • Class A experience is preferred.
  • Experience with building automation systems is a plus.
  • Yardi experience is a plus.
