Requirements
  • Ability to determine and report critical manufacturing process and control characteristics.

Responsibilities
  • Develop, implement, and maintain methods, operation sequences, and manufacturing processes for parts, components, subassemblies, and final assemblies.
  • Support new initiatives and productivity targets for assigned manufacturing processes.
  • Participate in design reviews and design transfer to production for manufacturing-process development.
  • Develop post-processing methods, equipment and process validations, machine-operation and maintenance requirements, test and inspection methods, fixturing, gauging, and inspection and process-control techniques.
  • Support and lead limited-scope projects for existing production families.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to execute and document manufacturing launches for new and legacy products.
  • Develop and optimize manufacturing processes for spinal implants from raw material through final cleaning and shipment.
  • Develop and complete manufacturing documentation, including process failure mode and effects analysis, control plans, process flows, work instructions, and inspection plans.
  • Manage machine and equipment efficiency through cycle-time reduction, waste elimination, tooling improvements, and changeover reductions.
  • Perform product and process analysis and troubleshooting for cost reduction, quality improvement, and efficiency improvement.
  • Design, develop, test, source, and cost-justify tools, machinery, and equipment for recommended manufacturing methods.
  • Participate in nonconforming-material review by supporting containment and review activities, root-cause analysis, production disposition, and corrective and preventive actions.
  • Maintain compliance knowledge and complete required training for applicable governmental laws, rules, regulations, and company policies.
  • Perform other assigned duties.

Globus Medical raises EPS guidance to $5.05 despite Nevro and Enabling Tech headwinds

Globus Medical reported second quarter 2026 worldwide net sales of $789.6 million, up 5.9% year-over-year, or 5.6% on a constant currency basis. GAAP diluted earnings per share fell 26.2% to $1.10, primarily due to a $110.5 million bargain purchase gain from the Nevro acquisition in the prior year quarter. However, non-GAAP diluted EPS rose 55.8% to $1.34. US spine sales grew 7%, whilst international spine sales increased 14% as-reported and 12% on a constant currency basis. Excluding Nevro, overall revenue growth was 9%. The musculoskeletal technology company reaffirmed full-year 2026 revenue guidance of $3.18 billion to $3.22 billion. It raised its non-GAAP fully diluted EPS guidance to $4.95 to $5.05 from the previous range of $4.70 to $4.80.
