Requirements
  • Student working towards a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or other related engineering field.
  • Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or above.
  • Good oral and written communication skills.
  • Previous internship experience or work-related experience.
  • Experience in extracurricular activities outside academic requirements (SAE teams, etc..).
  • Experience using Creo Parametric, Pro-E, CATIA or a similar CAD system is a plus.
  • Understanding of basic steel and sheet metal fabrication principles.
  • Knowledge of construction industry and equipment used.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude.
Responsibilities
  • Support fellow Test Engineers / Test Technicians
  • Assist in the Development of project test plans with Project Engineers with assistance from the Test and Development leadership and the Reliability Engineers
  • Participate in Failure Modes and Effect Analysis (FMEA), fault tree and safety analysis activities
  • Generate engineering calculations of weight distribution, stress analysis, performance estimations, etc.
  • Perform or assist in the testing of complete vehicles or vehicle components.
