Requirements
  • The participant must attend and complete the CNA Training Program.
  • The participant must be able to sit, focus, and actively participate in a classroom setting.
  • The participant must conduct themselves respectfully and professionally toward instructors and classmates.
  • The participant must be able to lift, push, pull, and move up to 50 pounds with or without assistance.
  • The participant must be able to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • The participant must frequently bend, stoop, squat, and reach.
  • The participant must be able to assist with resident transfers and respond to emergencies.
  • The participant must remain calm and professional in emotionally demanding situations.
  • The participant must demonstrate strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions.
  • The participant must have effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The participant must demonstrate emotional maturity, patience, and compassion toward elderly residents.
  • The participant must provide two forms of acceptable identification.
  • The participant must pass a background check, health screening, and required testing.
  • The participant must be dependable, hardworking, maintain stable attendance, and have good hygiene.
Responsibilities
  • Assist residents with activities of daily living as permitted during training.
  • Provide compassionate, respectful, and dignified care to elderly residents.
  • Observe residents and report changes in condition to nursing staff.
  • Assist with mobility, transfers, and repositioning.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized resident environment.
  • Support residents’ emotional, mental, and social well-being.
  • Follow care plans, safety guidelines, and infection control procedures.
  • Work cooperatively with staff, instructors, and fellow trainees.
Desired Qualifications
  • Previous healthcare experience is preferred but not required.
