Requirements
  • The candidate must have at least 1 year of experience in a sales or customer service role.

  • The candidate should have experience handling escalated customer issues and resolving problems over the phone and face to face.
Responsibilities
  • Deliver sales and retention results by providing exceptional customer service and meeting or exceeding monthly sales goals for strategic products, including Voice, High Speed Data, TV, Mobile, and Internet Content product offerings, through face-to-face and telephone interactions.
  • Exceed retention goals by using save techniques involving negotiation and interpersonal communication to prevent customer churn.
  • Ask lifestyle questions and promote services that fulfill customer needs.
  • Resell customers on the benefits of TDS service to protect existing revenue.
  • Handle moves, adds, changes, and disconnect inquiries, including billing inquiries, seasonal service requests, toll inquiries, and other miscellaneous inquiries.
  • Consult with customers during service calls to identify technology needs and offer TDS product solutions they do not currently have or that provide better value.
  • Follow cash management procedures to ensure accurate cash and payment handling from customers through deposit.
  • Resolve construction-related issues in specific markets by creating and completing triage tickets.
  • Keep current with promotions, products, and technology needed to meet or exceed sales and retention goals.
  • Maintain regular attendance and punctuality to meet customer and coworker needs.
  • Handle retail office responsibilities, including restocking supplies, unlocking and locking the office, maintaining office cleanliness, participating in community events, and coordinating use of space with other departments.
  • Complete special projects assigned by the supervisor.

It is expanding its fiber-optic network to deliver speeds up to 1 gigabit per second. Services run over a fiber network (and other networks) and are sold on a subscription basis through bundled plans. The company differentiates itself by serving rural, suburban, and small-to-mid-size markets with a broad range of connectivity solutions, rather than focusing only on urban areas, and by investing in fiber to raise achievable speeds. TDS Telecom raises fibre goal to 2.1M addresses, Array grows site rental revenues 51%

Telephone and Data Systems (TDS) reported fourth quarter 2025 revenues from continuing operations of $330.7 million, up from $295.3 million year-over-year. Net income attributable to TDS common shareholders was $37.2 million, or $0.32 per diluted share, compared to $1 million, or $0.01 per share, in the same period last year. TDS completed the sale of its wireless business in 2025 and launched tower company Array. TDS Telecom deployed 140,000 new marketable fibre service addresses during the year, raising its long-term goal to 2.1 million addresses. Array's site rental revenues grew 51% year-over-year. The company repurchased 1.8 million common shares for $67.4 million in the fourth quarter and paid a $10.25 per share special dividend in February 2026 following a $1.018 billion spectrum sale to AT&T.
