  • 7-10 years of Strong experience as a Business Analyst / Product Owner in agile, cloud-native, and modern engineering environments.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Science / Engineering / Management or equivalent
  • Hands-on experience with BDD (Behavior-Driven Development) and TDD (Test-Driven Development).
  • Experience collaborating with engineers on system design, code quality, and automation strategies.
  • Hands-on knowledge of JIRA, Confluence
  • Able to write (minimum level to analyze data) / understand PL SQL queries to model the current state
  • Knowledge of Investment Banking Services, Brokerage for Institutions / retail customers. Knowledge of Clearing and Settlement domain
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with experience working in data-driven decision-making environments.
  • Excellent communication skills – Oral, written and interpersonal / time management skills.
Responsibilities
  • Liaise with client's business and technology teams supporting a fast paced agile development environment.
  • Gather project requirements and capture detailed use-case based business requirements by interacting with the business and technology teams through interviews, group discussion sessions and questionnaires
  • Define and prioritize product backlogs, ensuring alignment with business objectives and modern engineering standards.
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders, engineers, and QA to drive BDD/TDD adoption and ensure automated validation of requirements.
  • Own and articulate clear, detailed, and testable user stories, acceptance criteria, and impact assessments.
  • Regularly interact with stakeholders, collecting feedback and managing expectations throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Analyze and design solutions to meet the project requirements / stakeholder expectations that can be captured as respective user stories in JIRA.
  • Work with a geographically distributed technology team to ensure that the requirements / business need are well understood and the solution developed are in line with the requirements.
  • Act as a functional / system expert and facilitate knowledge sharing / management within the team
  • Plan the approach, tools and templates to be used, timelines and monitor performance for analysis work
  • Meet customer requirements with least amount of rework and high amount of test coverage in the least amount of time
  • Effectively communicate project updates with stakeholders to keep them informed of project status.
  • Work closely with developers to define technical acceptance criteria that align with code quality, security, and performance best practices.
  • Conduct impact assessments for new features or changes to assess their potential effect on existing systems, processes, and users.
  • Drive modern ways of working, fostering a collaborative and agile product development culture.
  • Support sprint retrospectives and foster a culture of continuous improvement within the team.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience working with API-driven architectures and microservices.
  • Familiarity with performance testing, observability, and cloud infrastructure.
  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst or Product Owner in an Agile environment.
  • Certification - Scrum Master / Product Owner is an added advantage
  • Business Analysis certification like CBAP from IIBA or BA certification from PMI is an added advantage
