Requirements
  • M.S. level (Ph. D. preferred) in Electrical Engineering, experimental Physics, or related field
  • Ability to design and execute complex experiments in a cross-functional environment
  • Technical knowledge in hardware, software, controls, precision measurement, and photonics
  • Software development experience (Python preferred)
  • Experience in Quantum optics, optics, integrated optics, silicon photonics, Quantum state tomography, Quantum information theory, Cryogenic systems, Mixed-signal, analog, RF electronics design and test, Electro-optical device design and test
  • Team player with ability to work effectively across departments and time zones
  • Ability to work independently and deliver validation objectives
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Interest in PsiQuantum's mission and vision for quantum computing
Responsibilities
  • Development and execution of tests to validate optical quantum computer systems performance
  • Collaborate with system design and PIC teams to define validation objectives
  • Develop clear metrics for quantum performance and calibration methods
  • Analyze and deliver experimental data to inform engineering models
  • Debug complex systems and conduct failure analysis
  • Communicate validation outcomes to internal stakeholders
