Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in English, communications, technical writing, business, public administration, or related field; equivalent experience acceptable; certification in technical communication or document control preferred.
  • 5+ years technical writing, procedure writing, policy documentation, knowledge management, or controlled document development experience; experience with procurement, contracts, supply chain, federal compliance, or regulated operations preferred.
Responsibilities
  • Draft, edit, format, and maintain SOPs, handbooks, guides, job aids, forms, templates, terms and conditions, and supporting documentation; ensure consistent terminology, readability, version control, formatting standards, and publication-ready Word/PDF outputs.
  • The role(s) are located in the Southeastern USA Region, at or near Aiken, SC.
  • Initially identified Work Site Address (Hybrid – On/Off Client Site and Virtual: Building 992-3W, 1148 Aiken, SC 29808)
  • Develops SOPs, manuals, templates, and procedural documentation, ensuring clarity, compliance, and publication-ready deliverables.
  • Produces clear, controlled, publication-ready procedures, forms, guides, templates, and reference materials.
  • Documentation, Forms, Terms & Conditions, and Knowledge Management as part of a Management and Operations Consulting Engagement for Nuclear and Environmental Management Energy, Infrastructure, and Environment Contracts & Supply Chain Management (C&SCM) Procedural Support develops detailed SCM operational procedures across procurement, logistics, inventory, and property domains, ensuring compliant execution consistency.
  • Establish a communication plan that outlines the frequency and methods of communication with stakeholders.
  • Conduct an in-depth review and analysis of the prime contract, governing documents, and applicable laws.
  • Develop and customize procurement and supply chain procedures.
  • Comprehensive Set of Procedures to support Contracts & Supply Chain Management
  • Create and update supporting documents, forms, terms, and conditions reflecting the newly developed procedures
  • Acquisition Life Cycle Flow Charts
  • Visually appealing flow chart demonstrating the acquisition life cycle
  • Implement support through both virtual and in-person training sessions
  • Establish mechanisms for continuous improvement by regularly collecting feedback and monitoring effectiveness
  • Maintaining procedural, form, and terms and conditions compliance resulting from changes to prime contract, governing documents, and applicable laws
Desired Qualifications

  • Education / Experience Requirements / Qualifications includes Bachelor's degree in English, communications, technical writing, business, public administration, or related field; equivalent experience acceptable; certification in technical communication or document control preferred.
  • Skills Required: Procedure writing; plain language editing; document control; Microsoft Word styles/templates; SharePoint; version management; formatting; reference guides; terminology alignment; quality review.
