Requirements
  • A Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is required.
  • At least 8 years of experience in IT infrastructure or cloud environments is required.
  • Experience managing cloud or hosting environments is required.
  • Experience leading infrastructure or cloud engineering teams is required.
  • Strong experience with Microsoft Azure in hybrid environments and VMware virtualization is required.
  • Fluent English is required.
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure hybrid environments, VMware, Hyper-V, Terraform, Kubernetes, Ansible, Chef, Puppet, VPC, VPN, load balancing, and firewalls.
  • Knowledge of team leadership and mentoring, vendor and stakeholder management, strategic planning, and project leadership.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure environments, primarily on Microsoft Azure.
  • Ensure the scalability, performance, reliability, and security of cloud services.
  • Oversee the provisioning, configuration, and lifecycle management of cloud resources.
  • Contribute to cloud governance and architecture standards.
  • Manage enterprise hosting environments, including data centers, virtualized infrastructure, and hybrid cloud platforms.
  • Ensure high availability and disaster recovery capabilities.
  • Support hosting for enterprise applications, databases, and analytics platforms.
  • Monitor infrastructure capacity and performance.
  • Contribute to the definition and execution of the cloud and infrastructure strategy.
  • Support cloud migration initiatives from on-premise environments to cloud platforms.
  • Implement automation and Infrastructure-as-Code solutions.
  • Help design scalable and resilient infrastructure architectures.
  • Ensure infrastructure aligns with security policies and regulatory standards, including SOC2, ISO 27001, and GDPR.
  • Work with cybersecurity teams to implement security controls.
  • Support identity access policies and infrastructure security monitoring.
  • Lead and mentor infrastructure and cloud engineers.
  • Coordinate activities with DevOps, security, networking, and application teams.
  • Manage relationships with vendors and external service providers.
  • Ensure infrastructure uptime and reliability.
  • Participate in incident response, root cause analysis, and service restoration.
  • Support monitoring, logging, and alerting practices.
  • Manage budgets and optimize costs through FinOps practices.
