Requirements
  • Five years of experience in warehouse and inventory management, including physical inventory practices and procedures.
  • Five years of experience leading hourly teams or equivalent experience and training.
  • A university or college degree in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong working knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite, including advanced Microsoft Excel, Access, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Experience setting up Microsoft Excel functions, including creating and editing formulas, VLOOKUP, and PivotTables.
  • Advanced English business communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to schedule and conduct meaningful meetings.
  • Strong customer service focus for internal and external customers.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Flexibility and adaptability, including the ability and willingness to modify activities and direction in a dynamic business environment.
  • Ability to manage and support staffing for multi-shift operations.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure that the warehouse operates with maximum efficiency while prioritizing customer satisfaction.
  • Supervise, organize, direct, and train materials employees by establishing, monitoring, and managing operational objectives.
  • Manage and monitor inventory transaction processes to ensure inventory accuracy and compliance with company policies.
  • Determine proper storage methods, identification, and stock locations based on turnover, environmental factors, and facility capabilities.
  • Verify inventory computations against physical stock counts, investigate discrepancies, and adjust errors.
  • Develop warehouse operations systems covering product handling and storage requirements, equipment utilization, inventory management, inbound processes, and shipping processes.
  • Coordinate and monitor the receipt, storage, movement, and shipment of goods.
  • Coordinate the generation of cycle-count and physical-inventory sheets and maintain inventory-count accuracy.
  • Manage recycling and inventory disposal according to company policy.
  • Assist Finance and Procurement staff by reviewing and analyzing invoices as needed.
  • Inspect material-handling equipment, tools, and machinery regularly and monitor maintenance as needed.
  • Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing standards and procedures and complying with legal regulations.
  • Directly manage employees, including approving timecards and personal time off, conducting performance evaluations, planning career progression, and recognizing employees.
  • Motivate, organize, and encourage teamwork within the workforce to meet or exceed productivity goals.
  • Set and drive strategy.
  • Review and prepare workflow, staffing, space, equipment-design, and action-plan requirements while ensuring productivity, quality, and customer-service standards are met.
  • Assess departmental performance, identify problems, and develop and present effective solutions.
  • Coach, manage, and evaluate materials-team personnel to meet company goals and policies, including career progression and cross-functional skill development.
  • Develop adaptable systems for individual projects based on varying project scope, quality-assurance, and documentation requirements.
  • Provide leadership with feedback on resource and training needs and propose and implement solutions.
  • Audit receiving, shipping, material-handling processes and procedures, shipments, and receipts.
  • Coordinate and support training implementation, procedural-documentation updates, and process improvements.
  • Lead cross-functional projects, process improvements, and continuous-improvement events to improve Materials team performance.
  • Produce daily, weekly, and monthly statistical and informational reports on inventory and warehouse status, including establishing metrics and targets.
  • Provide personnel with daily guidance, training, and priorities while resolving issues and anticipating potential problems.
  • Participate in global policy changes, continuous process improvements, and related initiatives.
  • Update policies and training materials as needed.
  • Perform other assigned duties and responsibilities.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience managing inventory in the electronics industry.
  • APICS Certified in Production and Inventory Management (CPIM) certification.
