Requirements
- Designs complete and complex frameworks, systems or products
- Conceives system interfaces and business application prototypes. Identifies, analyzes and resolves system design weaknesses
- Influences the shaping of future products by contributing to the framework (architecture) used across multiple products or systems
- Contributes to the definition and refinement of development processes for application components
- Evaluates performance of critical application components and optimizes them to assure maximum performance
- Mentors other engineers in application architecture issues
- Participates in the performance review of team members and in the interview process for new candidates Other Duties as assigned
- Technical competencies span across multiple frameworks and/or products
- Demonstrates technical leadership of large teams
- Broad knowledge of key architecture elements; able to creatively define new features that meet all customer needs, that perform well and that are stable in multiple delivery environments
- Creative thinker with the ability to balance customer requirements, competitive pressures, and technical resource limitations across product families
- Recognized as a role model for senior team members in all aspects of software development (technical skills and knowledge, work ethic, interactions with other, etc.)
- Other duties as assigned
- Bachelor's degree or comparable work experience in software development
- 7+ years of experience in software development recommended in addition to education requirements
- Java (Java 8 +)
- Javascript (React JS, Node JS, single page app experience a plus)
- RESTful API services (required)
- SQL, PL/SQL
