  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related discipline
  • 8+ years of experience in system hardware design
  • Experience with single-phase and three-phase lower voltage utility power delivery
  • Experience with power conversion stages/topologies in the 500W to 20KW power range
  • Detailed understanding of electrical calculations for power distribution
  • Familiarity with lab equipment like programmable AC sources, oscilloscopes, power analyzers
  • Experience designing systems for EMC
  • Experience with electrical and mechanical CAD software
Responsibilities
  • Define and capture rack level infrastructure and configuration based on system requirements
  • Design the power management system for Quantum systems
  • Ensure uninterruptible power within systems
  • Contribute to specific PDN designs for electromagnetic compatibility
  • Contribute to the design of enclosures for sensitive electronics and optics
  • Work with external equipment manufacturers to specify devices
  • Define test methods and equipment to validate EM isolation
