Requirements
  • Master's Level Degree and 0 years related work experience;
  • Bachelor's Level Degree and related work experience of 2 years
  • Familiarity with common electronic blocks such as power supply regulators, isolators, op-amps, ADCs/DACs is desired
  • Desired qualifications include experience with OrCAD PCB, Altium, PADS, or Eagle; ADS, Hyperlynx simulation experience is a plus
  • Familiarity with AC power distribution is desired
  • Other useful skills includes experience with programmable logic controllers, cable and fiber optic design, ladder logic, or soldering
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work on cross-disciplinary teams is a must
Responsibilities
  • The PCB design candidate will produce PCB designs, schematics, and work closely with layout engineers to fabricate printed circuit boards.
  • The candidate will work closely with FPGA and firmware engineers to characterize and test full PCB systems.
  • The system design candidate will produce electrical system designs, and work closely with mechanical engineers to ensure everything meets the requirements and is easily serviceable.
  • Design includes power distribution, interconnection diagrams, safety interlocks and supporting hardware, computers, data storage, wired or fiber optic networking, and cabling to connect it all together.
