Requirements
  • 8 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree; 6 years of relevant experience with a Masters' degree; 4 years of relevant experience with a PhD
  • Active Secret Clearance at time of application
  • Experience with Mission Operation Centers (MOC)
  • Experience with Network Designs
  • Perform trade studies and system analysis to evaluate design options and recommend optimal solutions
  • Support the development of detailed technical documentation, including interface control documents (ICDs), requirements specifications and network diagrams
  • Proven expertise in network design, including LAN/WAN architecture, routing, switching, firewalls, and protocols (e.g., TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF)
  • Working knowledge of systems engineering principles and processes
  • Direct experience using the DOORS Requirements Management Database
  • Familiarity with Model-Based Systems Engineering languages (SysML/UML) and concepts
  • Demonstrated experience quickly learning new concepts and approaches
Responsibilities
  • Define, develop, decompose, analyze, allocate, verify, and validate requirements for Mission Operation Centers (MOC)
  • Conduct system performance and functional analysis, interface definition, risk identification and mitigation, system integration and compatibility analysis
  • Define and maintain the technical baseline and documentation
  • Drive the program through maturity and milestones to achieve the mission

  • Understanding of Ground System architecture including Spacecraft Command and Control (C2), TT&C, and industry establishments (FORGE, EGS, Cornerstone, Raptor)
  • Experience with Agile development
