SafeLease launches SafeHome for Manufactured Housing communities.

SafeLease launches SafeHome for Manufactured Housing communities. Sep 08, 2026, 13:04 ET Resident insurance compliance management, affordable liability coverage, and a new line of revenue for the community AUSTIN, Texas, Sept. 8, 2026 /PRNewswire/ - SafeLease, a technology-driven insurance provider serving more than 4,000 commercial properties, today announced the launch of SafeHome, its suite of insurance products for manufactured housing community operators. Nearly every manufactured housing lease requires residents to carry liability coverage, but property management systems do not track compliance, and an estimated 35% of manufactured homeowners carry no insurance at all.[1] When an uninsured resident has a loss, the claim frequently lands on the community owner. SafeHome provides: * Verification. SafeHome makes it easy for residents to provide evidence of their own policy or enrolls them in coverage. Communities can easily verify that 100% of their residents are compliant with insurance requirements. * Coverage residents can afford. The SafeHome liability waiver carries limits from $100,000 to $500,000, starting at $20 per month, reaching residents priced out of full homeowner's coverage. * A compliance dashboard. Coverage status for every home in one shared view, with no separate system for site staff to learn. SafeHome integrates with leading manufactured housing management software. * Revenue on every enrolled home. Communities earn a monthly admin fee for each home enrolled in coverage. A community can model its own numbers with the NOI calculator at safelease.com/safehome. "Across commercial real estate, SafeLease's role is to reduce property managers' risk while providing an ancillary revenue source," said Kierstin Payne, Director of Manufactured Housing Sales at SafeLease. "Helping managers administer their lease requirements is where that starts. In manufactured housing the coverage clause is already in nearly every lease. What has been missing is an easy way to track compliance and offer affordable coverage for residents." SafeHome will be available to manufactured housing community operators nationwide. About SafeLease SafeLease is a technology and insurance provider for commercial real estate owners, serving more than 4,000 commercial properties. SafeLease's automation-driven approach to implementing and managing revenue-driving programs has generated over $1 billion in enterprise value for property owners. Learn more at safelease.com.
